| Door style | What you see | Look | Works best in | Paint or stain | Pairs with |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ShakerThe most requested door we make | A flat center panel inside a square frame | Neutral and timeless; never dated | Almost every room, modern or traditional | Both | Frameless, full overlay or inset |
| Slim Shaker | The same door with a narrower frame, so more panel shows | Clean and modern; a wall of doors feels less busy | Modern and smaller kitchens | Both; especially good in natural white oak | Frameless or full overlay |
| Beveled Shaker | An angled inside edge on the frame | Refined, with subtle depth around the panel | Transitional spaces | Both; the bevel still shows under a single color | Frameless, full overlay or inset |
| Beaded Shaker | A fine rounded molding inside the frame | The most traditional of the shakers | Older homes and traditional kitchens | Both | Inset, for the most traditional look |
| Flat Panel / Slab | One flat surface, no frame or raised detail | Streamlined and contemporary | Modern kitchens | Both; the best choice for showing natural wood grain | Frameless |
Door style and cabinet construction are separate choices. Any of these doors can be built in any wood or color on this site.

catalog options
In addition to the door styles we make in our shop, we offer additional profiles through our door manufacturing partners. Visit their catalog to explore more options for your project.
Your door style determines the appearance of the cabinet front, while the construction type determines how the doors and drawers sit on the cabinet box.
For example, a Shaker door can be used with frameless, full overlay, or inset cabinetry. This allows you to combine your preferred door style with the cabinet construction that best fits the look you want to achieve.
Small details can make a big difference in how a cabinet door looks once it's installed. During your consultation, you can compare door samples in person and see the differences in frame width, edge details, materials, and finishes before making your final selection.
