Custom Cabinetry Services

Construction Types

Three ways to build a cabinet. We make all three.

Materials

We cut and finish hardwood in our own shop.

What Makes a Cabinet Custom

Custom cabinets are built to your actual measurements, so there are no filler strips to cover gaps and a corner becomes a pull-out instead of dead space. Design, build, finish, delivery and installation all happen under our own roof.

If budget leads, we also offer factory-built cabinets in set sizes, and we bring the same experience to choosing, checking and installing them, so the finished room meets the standard we hold our own work to.

Where We Work

We design, build and install from our Salinas shop across Salinas, Monterey, Carmel, Pacific Grove, Seaside, Marina, Watsonville, Hollister, Gilroy and Santa Cruz, and north into San Jose, Palo Alto and Los Altos. Delivery and installation are handled by our own crew rather than subcontracted.

We are a working shop: the person who measures your room is on the same team that builds and installs it.

How a Project Runs

Five steps: design, build, finish, deliver and install. It starts with a free in-home measurement and a no-obligation estimate, and most projects take 6 to 8 weeks from signing to installed. Payment is in four stages: a 10 percent design fee to start the drawings, 40 percent when you approve them, 40 percent before delivery and the last 10 percent when the job is done.
