Stock vanities come in fixed widths, which is why so many bathrooms end up with a gap down one side or a vanity that blocks the door. We build to your actual opening, in solid hardwood with finishes chosen to handle daily damp.
A wall-mounted vanity keeps the floor visible underneath, which makes a small bathroom read larger and makes cleaning easier. Mounting height is set to the people who use the room.
Built to the full width of the wall, with the drawers arranged around the pipework instead of blocked by it.
Matching linen storage and medicine cabinets, either set into the wall or mounted on it, finished the same as the vanity so the room looks like one piece of work. We check what is inside the wall before committing to a recessed cabinet.
Multi-step finishing on hardwood, with attention to the areas around the sink where standing water does the most damage. Wipe spills promptly and dry the surface with a soft cloth to keep the finish sound.
Stock vanities waste most of their interior to the drain pipe: the drawer either will not open or was never built. Building to order lets us cut around the pipework and keep real drawer storage either side of it. We check the pipe positions at the measurement visit, so what we draw is what can actually be fitted.
The cabinet is built to suit the countertop and sink you have chosen, since each type needs a different top and cutout. Tell us early and we will coordinate directly with whoever is making the countertop.
Our custom cabinets are built one of three ways. Which one suits you comes down to the look you want and your budget.
